We visited Straws Bridge today with a 2 year old and a baby in the pushchair. It was really handy having  a brief description of the walk regarding pushchair friendly routes and parking.  When we were ready to go it was great being able to get in the car and having the sat nav postcode ready. 

The location was really beautiful and seeing the swans and geese was fun for my toddler. We found lots of blackberries, raspberries, acorns and mushrooms, and spotted lots of wildlife, a great spot for a scavenger hunt!

This walk is quite versatile, in that you can stick to smoother paths or rougher terrain, take a casual stroll round the lake or a longer walk depending what suits you. There’s a nice spot by the lake with some picnic tables as well, we’ll definitely be returning with a picnic!
